Market Rules & Resolution
This page defines how markets are ruled and resolved. It is the single source of truth for timing and result handling.
Rules Summary
- Outcomes are interpreted per the rules defined on this page and for each specific market.
- Official data sources: results are based on official league publications
- Edge cases: postponements, cancellations, or tie-breakers follow the specific market rules
- Indicators are informational; final payouts follow contract logic
Resolution Timeline & Payout
- Pool open: accepts stakes until match start
- Pool close (match start): no new stakes are accepted after the event begins
- Resolution begins after the official outcome is declared. The final multiplier snapshot is taken at this point.
- Claims become available after funds are withdrawn from third-party protocols (e.g., Aave). While typically instant, this process depends on the external protocol's timing. See the Claims & Settlement guide for more details.
- No early redemption unless explicitly supported by the relevant smart contracts
- Initial release: no orderbook/secondary trading; stakes cannot be bought/sold before resolution
